North Sea Congress:
A bright spot in the Grey matter
In collaboration with the Belgian Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the European Association of Neuroscience Nurses invites you to join colleagues from all over Europe and the World at the 9th Quadrennial Congress of the EANN.
The EANN congress 2011 will cover all aspects of neuroscience nursing and the neuroscience nurse's role in the multidisciplinary team caring for the patient in neurological, neurosurgical, neuro intensive care wards including the neurorehabilitation process.
Neuroscience nursing research, education, professional development and clinical practice will be presented in oral sessions, poster sessions and workshops. Multidisciplinary sessions are also planned.
The web-site of the congress will be available in January 2009 at the EANN web-site by a click on the congress logo: www.eann.net.
The members of the Belgian Association of Neuroscience nurses hope that you will come and join us in our small but beautiful country, easy to reach from all parts of Europe and the World.
2nd announcement: Call for abstracts
The EANN congress 2011 – North sea Congress – “A Bright Spot in the Grey Matter” will cover all aspects of neuroscience nursing, clinical research, education, professional development and clinical practice, which will be presented in oral sessions, poster sessions and workshops. Multidisciplinary sessions are also planned.
Neuroscience nurses and professionals from other related disciplines are invited to submit abstracts for a presentation at the Congress.
Presentations can be:
- An oral presentation (20 minutes presentation and 10 minutes for questions/discussion).
- A workshop or a panel discussion (90 minutes – introduce the topic and facilitate a small group discussion; groups will be restricted to about 20/25 people).
- A poster (photographs/art work and brief supporting written explanation). Maximum size of poster will be limited to 1.2 m x 1.2 m. The presenters are responsible for setting up and removing their posters. During the breaks, presenters must remain in front of the poster to give references for the approaching delegates.
And although this congress is focusing on nursing, EANN emphatically invites representatives of other disciplines to participate and present as well.
Abstract submission is open from 15 September 2009 – 30 October 2010.
